    Wash the mascara brush and use petroleum jelly.

    I have the same issue with eyeliner, but only on my bottom lid. (I can line the top without issue, presumably because it's above the lashes & therefore further from the actual eyeball.) I recommend Almay products, as well. But -- if they don't work -- I'm sure you'll still be pretty without mascara.

    I have the same problem but only with waterproof mascara's. I don't know what is different in them but they all do the same thing to my eyes. I wouldn't use it if you have to risk your eyes in any way. However, you may want to try Almay products. They are for sensitive eyes and skin.

    i use zoomlash from mac which happens to be non waterproof, i dont like waterproof products

    I don't like waterproof either. It's to hard to remove. However, I have worn it to funerals (LOL!) and the beach.
