In my 16 years of living nobody, ever, has told me they were proud of me. Never. And I doubt that I will ever hear those words.

Can't remember any time. My kid responds like a puppy to being told we are proud of her. She's 27 years old. Should have said it more often but its never too late.

My mom tells me that all of the time, and it's wonderful to hear from her. I also hear it from my ex, who lives very far away now, but we remain on friendly terms.

My son said he was proud of me for always being there for him we've it was so difficult for.

Best Answer

I'd say that counts

Best Answer

I don't remember one person saying that to me.

Best Answer

Not even your parents?

Best Answer

Nope. They've only said the opposite.

Best Answer

Sorry that's too bad. I'm sure that's no reflection on you and just a complete failure on their part.

Best Answer

I don't need their approval, anyway. I'm just fine without it.
