If you are talking about bit torrent I assume that you are trying to steal them. Why do you want to rip off the author? Do you steal when you go to the supermarket? Would it bother you if somebody came into your home and began to take whatever they felt like taking?

If that isn't what you mean, then why not check your local library. Just like libraries purchase books to loan to people, most libraries also have audio books available that they have purchased and you can borrow them. In the case of libraries, the books have been paid for. In fact, many publishers count on a certain number of library sales to make it worthwhile publishing a book (and they also hope that if people are introduced to an author by a library, they may come to like that author enough that they will buy future books -- and that does work, because I have discovered authors through the library whose books I now purchase in bookstores and via Amazon.) Your tax money supports your public library so, in a sense, you are paying for the books you borrow.
