Where did God come from?

Theists are always asking us athiest/agnostics: "if there is no God, where did the earth come from?" As if it's going to stump us into believing in the God of the Bible.

Now I would like to pose the same question in reverse. God must have come from somewhere. Who created God? Where did he come from?

Didgeridoo	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM For me that is a meaningless question. You are assuming an understanding of god that Judeo-Christian in form and attribute. However if your view of god is more of that of a universal essence (such as is my view) then god is simply a part of existence. As such, whatever your view of how the world came to be is the same answer for where god came to be. Or again in my book, both simply "are" in the purest sense of the word. Rated: +1Vote for this!
