I met mine back in high school, at a pep rally. I had a sign that had "GO CARDINALS!" on one side, but if I flipped it over it read "GOATF*CKERS"
He had a sign that said "I had to leave my chemistry experiment to come "support" the people who make fun of me for liking science."

I met her in the employment office of a company where we both applied for jobs. I was recently out of college and had been a young teacher laid off after just a couple of months; she was fresh out of art school. We interviewed for the respective positions, met for lunch in the company cafeteria, then exchanged phone numbers and wished each other luck. We were both hired and worked in the same building, initially. We continued to work for the company,moving to various departments and remained friends throughout our lives, celebrating marriages, children and other life events along the way. She retired from the company after 30 years and this year I retired after 32 years. We are still best friends.

i moved to a new town and had to start at a new school mid year. I met a girl named jessica who was friends with my now bff jamila. Jamila and i started talking and had alot in common and became inseperable. That was 14 years ago and i still love her as a sister. She was the angel on my shoulder who talked me out of bad decisions as a teen and kept me grounded.

In high school. we are still best friends and it has been 26 yrs now. My best friend is also a man. He has always stood by me and could understand and get me for me. A true friend all the way!
