The bodily waste of the polar bear actually remains in their body to help maintain their body temperature during the winter months (and yes there is a winter even in the arctic circle) They don't release them until hibrination. Then they use the solid waste to pack around themselves before they settle in to hibrinate.
Well their bear cousins in the Charmin' toilet tissue commercials seem to be indoors.
