I live about half an hours drive from the east coast of Australia in a valley in a large town of 56.000 people spread out . I live on a small farm on the edge of town on the flood plain of a river. Very green and fertile place. Most of the farmers around here grow Turf so it's like a giant parkland.
Green. Windless (live in a valley). Everyone has animals. 5kms from the nearest shop.
NorCal It's wet, green, and a bit cold. The river, if I could see it, is brown and muddy.
