Where is the best Country Pub that YOU know of? ..........And why?

The drovers inn top of loch lomond 16th century coach house set in the bottom of the glen amidst the hills, low ceilings blackened by smoke from the big open fire a piano in the corner , a gantry to die for , and soup ... soup that sticks to your ribs....

Oh, fer pete's sake, how can you describe these wonderful-sounding pubs and not give their names.....I feel like jumping on a plane and doing a pub tour of the U.K.

Here's a great pub in Canada. It's called the Iron Horse, and it is in a tiny town called Lone Butte (that's pronounced "bute" like cute, not butt.) It's in the interior of B.C., in a vast area called the Cariboo. It's a big log building, and is full local people from cowboys and loggers to lawyers and business folk, young and old, plus tourists, summer people in summer, and travellers, and is always fun. It's not rowdy, but a good time is had by all. And the food is really good. I love that place.

An old bar in Cain Hoy. When the sun goes down. but before dark, hundred of bats come out of the attic of this old place. It's awesome to watch.
