I kinda like where I live. As far as the economy goes, we still pay old Doc Addams with chickens... and crime? Well, the last crime I recollect was when that rascal Tommy Parsons dipped Loretta Jones's pigtails in the inkwell at the old one room schoolhouse, down by MacDougall's Mill....

They say Denver is going to be one of the first to recover from our current economical state. I have lived here most of my life too and really think for a major city the crime rate is pretty low compared to most. I never had any problems anyway.

You will find crime and poverty anywhere in any city unfortunately if you go to the right place, or should I say the wrong place.

California is a great place to live and its beautiful but I believe there is some funky stuff going on with our taxes right now. If you are really worried about crime though you could probably live somewhere in the mountains in Montana perhaps.

Pittsburgh PA is good. Decent access to both the Midwest and the northeast without the crime or costs of most cities in either region. And it's a great place in itself. Lots of jobs, lots to do, and it's a fairly recession-proof place to be, too.
