Where was Jesus after He died?

The day Jesus resurrected (Sunday), He told Mary in the garden that He had not yet ascended to His Father? While His body was in the tomb, where was His Spirit?

Jesus was NOT actually dead, he was comatose from shock and loss of blood and after three days of rest to recover he regained consciousness and when people heard him calling out from inside the "tomb" they moved the stone and let him out, presuming he had been brought back from death since thay had no idea about vital signs back then and there was no way for them to be sure aside from the most basic outward signs that soemone was devoid of life. This was the reason that so many people were buried alive during epidemics and plagues, they appeared dead, the root of the vampire legends was these presumed dead people waking in shallow mass graves and climbing out to return home.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question - Jesus came to marry Magdalen that He had not yet ascended to His Father - clearly this was so because he was there and not in heaven. While His body was in the tomb, it would seem that his spirit was with it - as the body came back to life - presumably animated by his soul :)

it takes allot of time, effort and willpower to come back from the dead - I can't imagine wandering. ^^

When one is dead...their spirit is dead and they know nothing. I assume this also happened to Jesus. After he ressurected he returned to heaven though.

No I believe that he was resurrected when he met with Mary in the garden the. He was alive and well and stayed for I think another 40 days or something and then just like he was when he was with Mary on that day he also soared up into the heavens. He is Spirit just like I am a soul. When the spirit leaves the body there is nothing but like that dude in the old testament Jesus accended into the heavens as he was. Unlike most of us. We die we leave our bodies. While he was in the tumb his spirit was given up to the Father and decended without being forsaken into the pits of hell for our sakes.

You mention the most important part of this story--Mary. The women went to his tomb because the men all got frightened and ran away. The Bible was written by humans for humans and thirty years after Christ died Matthew, Luke and John who hadn't met him wrote their stories of who and what he was. Not one person on the planet then thought those stories were real. Only in the last forty years have people though that the bible was real. Before that people were amazed by its richness and value to their lives. If you'd told Constantine, the Roman emperor who gathered up the Plutarch--first five books of the bible that people two thousand years in the future would think it was real, he'd have laughed as if two thousand years from now people think Star Wars is real. Jesus, a very real and amazing man preached the Sermon on The Mount and did many wonderful things. The story of his resurrection is just fiction which was added later. You lose the cherished humanness and gift of the story if you look at it literally.

most likely in hell helping shovel coal. Who really cares. Think it is just a weird story to get people in some form of cults that might seem legal.

He is performing the task of salvation throughout the visible and invisible worlds. I clearly feel His love in my heart and I believe that that love is also in your heart, and in all other people's hearts.
