Where were you born?

In the "St Veronica" maternity ward of Mount Alvernia Hospital in Singapore. But for the grace of G*d, I would have had to type, "In the carpark of the hospital". I was a first child, my mother was young and fit, and she went for a regular pre-natal check and was told by the (bug-eyed, freaked-out) OB-GYN that she was already in full labour and her cervix was dunno how many centimetres wide open. Serious danger of infection; doctor was babbling. Apparently some women can't feel it. Oh well, my friend A's son, M, was already crowning when she was trying to figure out what it was that she had eaten which was giving her a bad tummy. Well, my mother went home, packed her little bag, washed her hair, called my Dad at work to tell him, and almost messed up the mother-in-law's merc (her water broke as she was walking into the hospital).

I am adopted, there are no records of my birth. I am guessing I was born somewhere in another galaxy and then I was beamed down to earth when I was 9 months old. That sounds pretty feasible to me :-)
