It would be a really sweeping generalisation to answer that question directly. I think countries with a good education system breed the most open minded societies

Frome my experience meeting and working with people from all over, I think the Aussies are just about the most open-mided and non-judgemental people I've come across ; of course as FeelinKindaDodge said, it is a kind of sweeping generalisation.

And don't forget - no generalisation is true, even this one

I don't think it has anything to do with the country... sometimes people are open minded while sometimes they aren't... : l

In some countries they motivate it more to each other, but of course the individual person depends on it.

Yupp.. in some countries rights to general public are very well given.. while in other countries they are just given but are of no use since govt. won't take a step to protect its people from such harassment..

From my POV it has to be Holland, a progressive attitude to the Prison system, an acceptance of the real facts regarding soft drugs, an open mindedness about nudity and sex in all aspects especially homosexuality. Open to all religions and races and generally pretty cool about most things provided they are not obviously against societal norms. If you think or feel have a bizarre or odd lifestyle there's probably a community somewhere in Holland that will welcome you with open arms.

It sounds all great, but they hate Germans with a passion. To me that's not fair either.

Well there's good reason for that but politics aside I think all countries have a nation they hate, the English hate the French, Hungarians hate Romanians, Italians hate Greeks, etc, etc
