    Sit ups. My spine hitting the floor is rather painful.

    Squats. I hate and type of squat because I'm not balanced and I usually fall during one of my sets.

    Squats are good for building the quad muscles but I do know what you mean re: the balance issue. That's where strengthening the hips and joints around them comes in handy.

    Used to love cycling along the prom but seems we`ve got ourselves a bad name and really, some motorists use their cars like a weapon to intimidate! I still go for a ride regularly but it`s lost it`s appeal, which is sad.

    Isn't it amazing how when we were younger these things seemed easy...like the monkey bars for instance. I couldn't do those now if my life depended on it. lol
