Which Fantasy movie do you prefer?

And Why?

The Princess Bride, Robin Hood (1938) and The 10th Kingdom (OK, it was on TV, sue me).

Also all Ray Harryhausen movies and LotR.

Overall, The Thief of Bagdad (1940) is my fave though, I am still mesmerised by the plot, acting, sets, genies, slave girls and giant spiders.

Final Fantasy.

I saw it in a hotel, totally at random a long time ago, and was blown away with the animation and overall setting.

I'm sure there are now better-made animated films - but that first unexpected viewing makes it special for me.

And LOTR - the film made sense of the story - I struggled through the book, essentially losing the plot because it was so long and detailed a book. The film brought the tale back in to focus, and it was visually stunning.

Lord of the Rings - all 3 movies Kinda hard chosing just one but if I had to it would either be that or my alltime favorite .. The Neverending Story
