Tell the truth and apologize. People will see you as being honest about your mistakes. Dishonesty is a sign of lack of maturity. Just keepin it real. Why lie? it just makes you a liar and you have to lie to cover your tracks. Way too much work and drama for me.

To tell the truth and look bad. I've dealt with too many liars and appreciate morals and integrity in a time period where those qualities are extremely lacking.
