Which is more painful or worse? To lose someone you love, or to be abandoned by someone who loves you?
This is a feeling not many can related to, but if you think hard, you might know which one matters for you most!

No doubt being abandoned by someone who loves you. You doubt your selfworth at that point. You ask yourself how you f'ed up, how you could rewrite the past to change your present. It's just messed up that we need validation from others so bad that when they change paths and our paths stayed the same. Somehow we screwed up and it wasn't just the way things work sometimes.

Loss is loss, it's much easier to accept than having someone abandon you, and vice versa. Abandonment is much worse.

I think they are both painful but at least with death you really have no control over and there for should not feel as if it was something you did that caused it. If you are abandoned by someone then there is too much stuff that goes through your head that would be hard to sort out.

I think they're just the same... the end result for both is still painful... but maybe being abandoned by someone you think who loves you is much much painful because if you analyze it means he doesn't really love you.. if he loves you, how can he abandon you?
