Which long dead/outdated communicative human custom would you revive if you could?

For me personally, I'd love to bring back the fine art of hand-kissing. A light brush over the knuckles to indicate respect and admiration; or even simply as a form of greeting.

    that viking thing where you cut the palm of your hand and shake the hand of one whos done the same. its some sort of blood bond/oath. :P

    Close friends of the same gender greeting each other and cheek-kissing was sweet when I was a young girl living in north Missouri. I saw the same custom in Morocco, it has mostly died here in the U.S.
