Yes, but which would be most difficult to lift on your own. Could you lift 1kg of cotton? Perhaps even harder 1kg of feathers unless compressed. Oh why did I start this train of thought......

Trick question... they are the same! A kilogram is a measure of mass, which is directly proportional to weight. Though a kg of iron would be much smaller (lower volume) and a kg of cotton would be larger (higher volume), they are exactly the same weight.
