    I am a Baha'i.
I do not belong to a religious association.
I freely and independently study the teachings
of Baha'u'llah, Who teaches me that I am a
human being with the destiny to love and serve
    all mankind.
As for other teahings of Baha'u'llah for
a new race of man in the new world,
people can make investigation in the following

Wishing you good health and happiness.

I generally keep an open mind, and treat the metaphysical the same as I treat the physical. By that I mean, not something to "believe in" per se, but instead something to draw conclusions about.

You wouldn't decide to believe in the existence of Wal-Mart, you would check to see fi a Wal-Mart was their, and consider information about it's existence if you had no way to check.

That said, I don't have a religion. The closest match definition would be an atheist or an agnostic. I do believe in several things believed by Shamanism, and some Pagan ideas; but I attribute these to paranormal forces rather than Deities.

I suspect the so called "Gods and Goddesses" are really just over fed spirits/ghosts who (like corrupt corporations) managed to hood wink living believers into contributing so much energy they could monopolize and control out their competitors - and have created Wicca, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Satanism, and everything else as a kind of "paranormal marketing campaign" to further imprison peoples minds as a psychic energy source. That this is why they are so quick to claim themselves as "the only right", discredit all others as being wrong, and create all manner of turmoil designed to support "giant paranormal show". The shows only real purpose being to get more of us to expend psychic energy on spells, exorcisms, prayers, etc.,.

I can just imagine Jesus, Satan, the Wiccan Goddess, and the Budda laughing it up while we foolish humans devote all the faith we could be directing into our own goals into efforts to solicit their favor. All the while making it impossible for any little spirits do anything more than hope they survive off any energy they can get by frightening any living thing that wanders into what ever they can haunt.

And all for what? So that 1'/4 to 1/2 the energy can be put into more staged tribulations and miracle design to get us to devote even more faith.

In short I suspect religions are nothing more than the result of the same kind of things going on in the psychic world, which created our artificial, media programmed, society in the physical world.

This is very interesting, a rather unique view on the matter. I too have suspected that all of these religious deities are nothing more than powerful/smart spirits on another plane of existence who were able to tap into our world and play with us like puppets as we dance to their beat.

Not hard really if you think about it, what do political parties and world governments already do on the physical plane? Why would this not be the most obvious explanation for why when we look at the history of all religions together; we see the same patterns as when we look at the history of all the things which have happened in the physical world together?

Why do people go to church on Sunday if that is Gods day to rest? Seems rather rude to pray to him and try to talk to him when he is trying to rest.
