I am Christian, and go to a non-denominational church....I think it's more about whether it's a Bible preaching church, rather than a particular religion....I'm most comfortable where they preach from the Bible.

OldGroupiesNeverD ie	Posted Apr 6th, 2009 at 10:08AM I'm a Buddhist by choice (not by upbringing). I don't think it's really a religion though - more like a philosphy on how one should live one's life (regardless of external reward). It's non-theistic. I don't think I have a problem with any religion, however, and I believe that there are a lot of really good sentiments in all of the religions that I have encountered. Any philosophy that encourages people to be kind to others can't be all that bad. Rated: +2Vote for this!
Caliper	Posted Apr 6th, 2009 at 2:41PM NONE, Religion is just a control mechanism. Too many people have died in the name of Allah, or God. If the Supreme Deity was in need of someone to die for their beliefs or lack there of, let him do it himself. In my opinion that's the point, he would have already if that was what he wanted done, we would all have a hard time measuring up. I believe God is about freedom of choice and finding the true path spiritually back to him. Rated: +2Vote for this!

wildnatured	Posted Apr 6th, 2009 at 9:17AM I tend to think of the word "religion" as an organized group, so I'd have to say I don't care too much for any of them. But if you are talking about beliefs, I'd have to go with the Pagans, they don't have to be organized to practice what they preach. Shellfinder	Posted Apr 6th, 2009 at 9:55AM BOO! Im a catholic by upbringing and by choice as an adult. I have been to many different religions to visit. However, when I walk back into my own church, I just feel at home, and feel a spiritual connection, like Im walking into a holy place..not because of the people just the atmosphere. Honir	Posted Apr 6th, 2009 at 11:14AM Daoism, it's the Linux of religions, strong enough for most practical needs, slim enough to fit side by side with any other religion without contradiciton. The wisdom of emptiness, which is the whole of daoism, is not prohibited by any religious worldview I know of, including Atheism. It's my favorite religion for being the most portable.
