Middle-teens to middle-twenties. When everything is new, you're spreading your wings, all your friends are still around, future is bright, fun galore, etc. College days were the best, out of this period. Young is fun.

I've had them. 25 years a sailor, 11 of them in Japan.

I'm living my best days now. In alot of ways, these days are also the worst, but if I am in control, I determine that the good will outpower the bad.

The best days are now, when peace has come to me , wisdom has shown me a purpose and I wouldn't trade my age to be younger , those years of struggle, the years of a lack of wisdom that kept me in turmol inside. I now have little time left and not at all dreadful of death but so happy to be alive today.

The first 3 days to come to mind are when each of my children were born. Followed by every day I have spent with them since.
