    at this moment in time all the politicians disappearing would liberate society

    Politicians serve no purpose whatsoever. Lawyers...meh...a necessary evil.

    Probably neither would be a great loss. Most politicians were lawyers in a previous life.

    Cripple? I would say it would set people free. Vote in some "Commoners" and we'd be doing much better. But remember they have to be leaders, NOT politicians.

    Since most politicians are lawyers, they are twice as useless, so their removal would have less effect on society!
