In the late 1700's and early 1800 the english were sent to a penal colony for years for stealing a loaf of bread. Now their ancestors are paying big money to come to that same island for a holiday.

I would say Stealing a loaf of bread. That may be someones meal. The gold ring is wasted in the grave, the corpse certainly does not need it.
