While my bf is in BCT at Fort Jackson, can I send him things like deodorant, toothpaste, stamps etc?

Actually you don't need to send him anything because they take them shopping at the AAFEES which is the supermarket and they get atm cards for that. What would suit him better is letters of encouragement and support. Write him everyday because it makes them feel good to hear from home. I know, been there done that and I am a retired vet. I went to boot camp at Ft Jackson. Just send lots and lots of letters.

Yes! Remember he is in the Armed Forces not in federal prison. Make sure you address the package correctly. BCT is between 8 to 12 weeks. I would send letters and his care package during his AIT. AIT is the MOS school that he will go after BCT and it is longer than BCT. Good luck and support your soldier, sailor, or airmen. God Bless America

I was able to send him stamps but wasnt able to send him toothpaste or anythin like that. There is a store right where he was that he could get everythin rite on base.

There is actually a list on the official web site of what can be sent. Sometimes each base is different. So check there is the best bet.

Yep, but no sex toys 'cause they'll find them. Good luck to him with BCT. I went out there last year to watch my friend graduate.
