Who are these "Osmonds" you speak of?

I was reading the answers to balboaguys' question about mormons and 2 people mentioned the Osmonds...is it on TV or something cuz i don't watch it much...who are they?

Donny and Marie Osmonds... they are brother and sister who sang together
He sang more rock and roll type stuff and she sang country stuff... they did albums and had a tv show together for a while. google them!!!

AndrewPenney	Posted Jul 18th, 2009 at 2:52AM As far as I know (from where I am in Singapore, which is a secular country), the Osmonds are a well-known American family who have been famous in "wholesome" showbusiness for a few decades. I watched their show when I was young, possibly because Asians are pretty conservative. I can say honestly that I've never associated this family with any particular political group (unlike many prominent Protestants in America), that is to their credit surely.
