I don't,and plus my Nana (Grandma) said they changed it awhile back,they found a new Mayan calendar and they were off thousands of years at least.Plus even if they didn't find one i didn't really believe it anyways,i believe no one really knows when the world will end,only God does i think!

I think it is a political / ecomnic ploy
Scientifically - Do I htink there are some solar / atmosphereic things that may be happening then?,,,possibly...that is just nature.
year 2000- think of all the **** that was sold to doomesdayers - to get "prepared"..you need to buy this"
ok over 10 years later - bad economy
2012- a way for the Gov / Big Comapnies to control the sales of certain things -
"Hurry...just in case...by this / that to survive"...i bet there are f ers already buying stocks in certain products / commodoties....that will be bought out of fear...and price gouged....
The fear / anxiety...will also be used by churches to take advanage of the masses i too believe.
Just my opinion
