To be anything, one must merely believe they are. no building changes one's religion. If a Christian steps into a mosque, he is still a Christian. We are what we choose to be.

Church is the body of christ. When two or more are gathered in his name.....that is church. We each are a temple for him to reside within.

I don't believe you have to attend church to be a christian or to go to heaven. You have to believe and live your life right

Not me. If God exist and is worth worshiping, he will not care about where people do good deeds.

Maybe if we carry over some of that spirit from church to the streets, the whole world could become "His" church!

I'm not a Christian, but if you were stranded on an island after a plane crash, with no churches, would you still be a Christian?

"Church" refers to a gathering of like-minded people,..and requires no building as such for that to happen...If a church was the body of christ,..then each crucifix would have a church on it,..nailed to the cross....People who MUST attend the buildings referred to as 'churches'...are "Churchians"....Christians only need live by christian values...Jesus would be rolling in his grave at half the religious carry-on devised in his misappropriated name...That is,..if he hadn't already risen from that grave,..which was coincidentally,..at easter,....Funny how things synchronise like that...

I don't believe that at all hon. I grew up in the Church as my Grandfather was a preacher. He said as long as you are learning and studying and believing. I've seen more problems within the churches so... do what feels right for you.

I'm not religious myself, but I do know that you can go to church all the time and still be a bad person. You've just got to take a look at history for that.

When I first came to this small town . there were very few of my faith, so we gathered in a home, and rotated the home so all could participate. Then we grew in numbers and moved to a boy scout hall we would hire each week.

Now we are greater in numbers and have built a chapel to partake our Sunday services.

To gather together as two or more in his name, is worship. As numbers change the building will also need to change to accommodate the worshiping group

i am a believer but the church has become too hypocritical for me. people wanting to be put on a pedastool. ministers trying to get rich. greed and self worship runs rampant. i see no need for it. i do my own thing.

You do not have to attend church to be a true christian, however the bible says do not stop assembling together,a preacher once told me to have a lasting change in your life you must go to church to study and have prayer to stay committed and there is power in groups

to be christian you need only believe - to be of a certain sect of christian - mayhaps you do.

I have heard stories of catholics being very strict about their church going practices ^^

don't go to church because of fear or feelings that you must - if you go to church, go for love of the wisdom within those walls.
