Who else here feels like they need a shower after conversing with most xtians?

I feel dirty, in a way, after having to deal with the mindless, or at least that I have been somehow lessened by the ordeal.

For those who take offense - too bad! How long did you have to pray before being told to be put off by the question?

It's not humility, it's pride..... Do you not see that being unable to call them a CHRISTian makes you appear to be mindless?

You people want Christians to leave you alone... why not start the ball rolling by leaving US alone...

Why do you get sick jollies in attempting to KILL others beliefs and therefore souls....

Do what you want with your own, but DON"T YOU DARE INSULT ME FOR MY BELIEFS.... THAT IS INTOLERANCE...

I think I need a shower now.... to get the stench of hateful atheist off me....

Thankfuldead said pretty much what I felt like saying after reading your loaded question/personal attack on others you don't know.

Your unbelief does not put you on a higher pedestal than believers. As a humanist I believe we are equal and share the responsibility to treat each other as such.

Steve, I will pray for you.

Only the undconditional love of Thor and the gods of Asgard can save you from your torment.

I have to be honest, the god fearing really leave a bad taste in my mouth. I hardly ever say anything about it though.

I'm trying to hold on to my last vestiges of tolerance and understanding for them but it's becoming difficult lately. I'm so tired of people who just expect that I love, or believe in, their god(s). And I'm really really REALLY tired of these same people who are trying to turn my country into a "Christian nation". *shudder*

Hating them solves nothing. Believe me, I know the feeling you're talking about, but you have to understand that given a certain set of circumstances growing up, YOU could've been a christian, or a muslim, or a hindu. The world has been under hardcore superstitious rule for thousands of years, and is only now beginning to show some signs of an awakening. Cut them some slack, and just realize how lucky you are that YOU didn't get brainwashed like they did.

I'm far from a religious person but I respect other people's rights to believe what they want. But I don't want them to shove their religion down my throat and I wont shove my disbelief down theirs

I'm not a Christian. But, I often feel inspired by the faith of many people. I appreciate anything that gives them a positive and joyful experience in life.

If you truly feel soiled after speaking to Christians, I don't see how you would think that's their fault. I mean, obviously they don't actually make you filthy, so OBVIOUSLY, it's all in your head. That would concern me deeply. I'd be getting help, not posting stupid questions. Maybe that's just me.

"I feel dirty, in a way, after having to deal with the mindless, or at least that I have been somehow lessened by the ordeal."
Hey! My thoughts exactly! After reading your blatantly hateful despicable rude disgusting vulgar devilish insult to God's following children.
"For those who take offense - too bad!"
Would seem a 33% of the world would take offense, considering 1/3 of us are christian. I'm sure your devilized mind shudders at the thought that one third of the world actually claims to follow Christ. Well that same 33% is shuddering that 8% of us, including you, do not believe in God. What's so dissapointing, is that you feel wronged by the intolerance some Christians may show toward you. (damning you to hell, ect) Yet you do not rise above their standards, as you claim to be up on the pedastal of the truth, but drop to their level and call those who claim to be striving for cleanliness, so dirty, that you feel dirty for being in contact with them? Congratulations on insulting 1/3 of God's children on this earth, which insults God himself. One day or the next you will regret your dirty insult, and have to take a real shower of repentance. If not, well you better enjoy your shower now, I don't think there are any showers in the bad place downstairs.
"How long did you have to pray before being told to be put off by the question?"
God does not tell us to do things. He kindly asks them of us, and as his faithful servants, we often choose to obey. Dissapointing you aren't.
And thanks for crossing out Christ, not only with your insult, but by simply using the term "xtians."

Peace upon you brother, and lucky for you that the true christians will forgive you for your idle and confused way of thinking. The ones who attack you are not true christians, because they have not learnt to show tolerance and to rise above the situation.
God bless,my son,and enjoy your shower,to wash away your sins.

Nope, but I feel the need to provide some sort of cleansing after I talk to them. What a difference a little Wash-Away-Jesus soap wouldn't do. Excuse me,I am going to contact Satan now and see if he'll go in with me on patenting that product.
