Many, many years ago back when we used to get a newspaper. Do they still print those?

Yes, but unfortunately about 1/2 or less the size they used to. I have some Sunday comics sections here to scan for an archive and the Tarzan and Prince Valiant strips each take up a full sheet about 17'x22' and the printing quality was superb!

I used to be a scanner operator and I hated having to scan something out of the newspaper because of the dot pattern and having to re-screen it to keep from getting a moire pattern.

My parents always did that, and I did it with my children it's become a sort of family tradition.
