Me. I unloaded all the crap they had piled on me in my childhood and my youth, laid claim to my own life, and never looked back.
Un fortunatlely, it took more years of my life that I would have liked it too, nut I found that I also need help from God and Jesus to make my life worthwhile.Like (3)

Mom, she was the reliable one. Always there to lend a hand, scold when I got out of line, and beam with pride when I got something right.

Probably my Dad. He sacrificed everything for his family, and never kept a thing for himself. That is pretty much the kind of father I became. Yes, there is a double-edged sword in living like that, and he showed me that part too.
The bad comes with the good, and there's nothing anyone can do about that.Like (2)

I came from a large family and we didn't have much. I learned to share and to appreciate things. I also have a much deeper compassion for those that are in those same circumstances now.

My best friend who also happened to be the love of my life. He helped me to forgive myself for abuse I had hidden in the echoes of yesterday that bruised my soul.
He echoed my sentiments of placing God before man. He accepted me just as I am...flaws and imperfections just like Jesus would. He never loved the sin, but forgave. In turn, it taught me forgiveness. I learned to love myself and others.
Hugs, Nikki
