I went on A date on the weekend, it was lovely and I thought I should pay for our meal because he paid for us to go to the cinema, it nearly started world war 3!!

    Has a guy, my dad's rule was always you pay. It is what I always do. Not sure if its chivalry or I am just being stupid.

    Although I believe a guy should pay on the first date I also believe in equalness so both ppl contribute. Thats fair, isn't it?

    Otherwise: the one who suggested/arrange the date (invitation) :)
