Every single cancer patient who decided to " fight" this disease. They all are my heros , as I wouldn't be able to do what they have done. They are truly Survivors. -- I am not!

You are. You are here to speak for them. Why do you say you are not?

Henry Miller, Bertrand Russell, Albert Einstein, Eric Hoffer... And many others out there... My teachers, my mothers, my friends... Each little impression they leaves in me, all of them inspires me day by day! I am very thankful.

My grandad, he had to leave school at 13 to work but he still got 98% on his leavers maths exam. He still remembers every word to the love letters he sent to my granny when they started going out.

While getting kidney dyalisis rthe hospital put the wrong kind of dye in her and her body is turning to stone. Reguardless she never complains and still takes her grandchildren-care of them and bought her own house and is filling it with love-still AND new memories. She's become a dear friend I will always cherish her

My former medic son, who is blind. He doesn't complain, he jokes. He competes in Judo tournaments and bowls a mean 236 (when his team remembers to tell him which pins are still up) - with sighted people.

He loved the Iraqui people and thought they got a raw deal from us because they had culture, ancient buildings and beautiful artifacts, education was doing well, they had electricity and water to all. They told him they thought they might just get a 'nicer dictator'.

Now he's studying to be a masseuse.

You know who inspires me even more? His beautiful Japanese wife, who not only stayed with him but has given him three gorgeous little porcelain skinned, blue-eyed children. She has more courage and strength than I've ever seen before.

Every time I turn on my computer I read about my friends doing charity bike rides, sponsored swims or the Race For Life and I find it genuinely inspiring...

It inspires me not to be friends with the tedious tw@ts any more......
