    First test--do they have an actual campus with buildings? Second, you can try contacting the Better Business Bureau and State Board of Education for where ever the University is located. Third, ask the University itself to supply you with their credentials re accreditation--if they're honest, they should have no problem providing paperwork.

    good advice, thank you. I have been googling a lot tonight and it looks they McFords is a scam. For one they called me back and I asked where they were and the man said San Francisco, but the net is telling me Pakistan! Thinking more about it they basically offered to sell me a degree in education for $600! That being based on my work experience which has nothing to do with kids or education! I think I will just grit my teeth and wait to start with my local university in June.

    Thank you. I wish it was that easy. Here in Australia, work experience doesn't count :(. As I last studied 14 years ago that doesn't count either! I have to go way back to the beginning. Regretting how late I have left it!
