No. My mind isn't that dirty (or at least not in a public forum like EP). It actually is in reference to several questions asked earlier about food fights and throwing cupcakes.
Ok. I’ll give you some words based on what I did today. Early this morning I performed a ventriculostomy on a patient to remove excessive cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and pressure from his brain. It is not uncommon to do this type of procedure after a craniotomy. He’s resting comfortably.
i try to avoid an overabundance of polysyllablic circumlocutions, but sometimes it is impossible to do.
chthonic. i love the word chthonic.
I have been trying to curb my cursing so now I say "goob" instead other remarks to people who **** me off.
Hippopotamus, cumquat, and psychedelic
Can you elaborate on what "though-provoking words" are?
all words are thought provoking. it's a part of communication.
The four-letter ones. ^-^
Yes. I don't know what my actual favorites might be.
Ouch. Those are the moments I become incoherent.
Still, I will admit that I love great wordplay. 8)
I used to have one of them but the wheels fell off...
Ha ha .x
I love silhouette, vocabulary, Zimbabwe, psychedelic, obtuse, malevolent, serendipity (meeting my boyfriend was a serendipity ;D beautiful meaning), prevalent, revolutionary, ambidextrous, trypophobia, haematogenesis, hypothalamus, cortex, hemoglobin, diaphragm, and so much more.
Serendipity, serenity, phantasmagorical (lol), ephemeral
It's funny, the words we will not say, as opposed to the ones we will. For example...I do not believe I have EVER said the word "fart" ....ever...in public or private. Though the term is accepted in most circles, I find the word repugnant. However....I have no problem coming off with the F bomb at the drop of a hat...lol!!
Sphincter. If you ignore it's meaning, that word is actually really cool to say. I mean, who would look at your butt and go "hmmm, that looks like a 'Sphincter' to me!"
My favorite word is Methylchloraisothiazolinone.
Amicable, suitability, indeed, remorse... Name a few
Loved the question....thanks. :)
"Epitome" One of my favorite words. Many use this word as a superlative instead of a "range"
I hate words sometimes. They never fully explain or express all of my emotions in most siuations. But if I had a fave it'd be....FLAPJACKS!!=)
Saturnine is my all-time favourite word.
Others I like:
and finally, pwoitgslfsk
Yes, I always have. I've been a voracious reader since I was small. Some of my favorite words?
Sweet! Great Mom, Lucky kids. They will grow up very literate.. :-)
i like words but i like it better when people use their mouths for better things like...... well you get the picture
