    I think there is a general constant with women to speak, not always or necessarily "flap their gums" ... but if you get a talking man "he ain't passin' de mike"

    a man's brain is wired to deal with stress through physical means a woman brain is wired to deal with stress through social means...
    If that is what you mean by 'flap their gums', then the answer is women have a physiological need to talk more.
