I see the value of Christmas in just the spirit of Christs birth and the meaning of humanity and goodwill to all ...but I have to admit Xmas is not the same anymore without children around you to see the wonder and glory in their eyes as they wait for Santa and unwrap gifts... and we haven't had much carolers for a number of years.... its way too commercialized anyway.

Christmas comes only once a year which is a special day whether we are alone or surrounded with our loved ones. It is a big holiday all over the world.

The days you have mentioned do come once a year as well and it is nothing compare to Christmas. Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter are holidays celebrated by many people and they're big holidays.

To me the Holidays are a time for families to get together and enjoy the company. Unfortunately it's ALL about the presents and greed

Wish I could help but I can probably only offer kind words and moral support. Not much but a start.
