It takes a couple of weeks to build up in your system. After about 1 week you may start noticing a difference. After 4 weeks it should be in pretty good swing! GL!

i have taken it a few times when i really couldn't independently take on my depression. i know you aren't supposed to do this, but if i must i take it for 2-5 days maximum, experiencing dramatic uplift in mood by the second day. i've probably done this about 6 times. so in my experience it works really fast. i used it to get myself back on my feet, so to speak. but i don't recommend anti depressants, i think such medications are largely over prescribed. a great deal of people use them long term, and the masses are hooked on legal drugs; it is becoming abundantly clear that the intention lies in solidifying our shared complacency in being manipulated and controlled by corporations, media, and government. we are mentally numbed and vulnerable to all powers of suggestion; we are their willing self sacrifice, their unbenefiting source of extreme wealth, and their ultimate symbol of power. our minds are at their disposal, or will be very soon.

I used to take it. It takes about four weeks to fully start helping. People react differently, but it turned me into a Zombie and made me not worry about anything, ie: I wasn't even taking care of the simple things in life.

I used to take it when I was a teenagers and it didn't stop bad things from happening to me! I was dating a guy and went out with him for a weekend but my foster parents insisted that my foster sister go along too and she did and she stole my boyfriend and slept with him all weekend I still wanted to die! Then she had the nerve to ask did you take your pills? Errrrrr! I've also seen a documentary on TV where people who were taking paxil and zoloft have a higher chance of committing suicide if the all of a sudden come off of it. Pretty scary if you ask me. My cure to depression is to live in love and by faith, Worshiping God whenever wherever and other select few people who treat me right and not creating too much drama in my life, by being a good person. It does work. So does peaceful prayer.

I've taken it. It didn't work for me, but it works for my brother.
It usually takes a few days for a new medication to fully work and be in your body.
Good luck.

I used to take it, it didn't work too well for me, but I know a lot of people do have success with it. I am not sure, but I think it takes about two weeks to build up to the appropriate level in your body and start working.
