well.....we're gonna have a GREAT time today......don't really care about the fourth - but it's an excuse for the island parade, fireworks - and it's CARNIVAL in st. john this week.......sure you don't want to see mocko-jumbies dance in the streets ?? eat some roti and drink tamarind juice.......or fresh coconut from the shell with generous dollops of rum added ????....come on - it'll be fun......

Every man and woman who lives in a free country should take a moment to reflect on what it took to get to this point. Not just the War of Independence, but every war since then too.
So many men and women gave their lives so we could have the opportunity to celebrate however we like.
