It's not very sensitive to the child's needs.

I can see your answer, no need to bring it up. I don't naturally think of kids. That's why I'm not having any; I'd be unsuited for it.

The Man should have stayed home and cared for his sick Wife and child.

Depends on what the rehearaal is for, on whether or not the rehearsal is part of a means to pay the doctor's bill, medical insurance, or for the prescription. I mean the baby is probably getting better care from the dad who is not sick vs the sick mom who needs to get better herself. I know that this is certainly good for the moms recovery, to give her a break. Not fair to leave a sick mom with a sick baby or any baby for that matter. Again, it depends on what this rehearsal is.

Idk... I don't have the experience to decide. I just know I'd feel bad for leaving someone I loved home alone with a flu.

Please notice, I have absolutely no experience with babies or kids of any kind. However, I would assume that if anything, it would be faster to get a baby to a hospital if something happened while out of the house, as long as it's constantly supervised. Just my guess.
