Who thinks romance is dead?

I dont think its dead at all, but I do think its underappreciated. I mean what is "romance" anyway? Everybody has different ideas as to what romance is and what is (or would be) romantic. I think romance is often fictionalized and based alot in fantasy, and people often end up disappointed. In reality, I think romance comes from the heart. Its not about the fancy, the extra special, or the elegant....its about consideration and caring. It is here that the saying "its the thought that counts" really is the truth. Its where " the little things mean alot" really does mean alot. Its where when one does "go all out" and tries to create the fantasy atmosphere.....it is truly extra special because whether it turns out exactly as planned or only have a slight resemblence to the intended outcome, it is truly from the heart and deserves an A for effort.

If you think it's dead, why not try creating some of your own? You get what you give.

It can die.

Romance dies (or lapses into a coma) when the relationship is taken for granted.

Its found in marine affairs and teenage dreams... as for me..well i dont think its alive... let me run my engagement by you... we were fighting i was yelling and crying and the dipwad i'm now married to now..said "ok well i'm gonna take a shot anyways"..and proposed right then and there..it ended the fight.... but not the crying...and then he decided he wanted a take two cause the first time was so wrong..so almost a year later he get's down on one knee in his living room and then says "hold on my pants are tight i'm gonna take them off" (mind you right there in the living room)... so i had a second proposal from a man with no pants... oh yeah romance is dead!
