Both were equal within different philosophies, equally flawed, equally insightful, equally imbalanced, equally loving yet human non the less.

My mother -- because my father was a drunken, womanizing salesman who was home very little -- and he used to beat (with clenched fists) me, my siblings and my mother for almost no provocation at all. As a result, some 40 years since he left home, I still have nightmares that I am killing him!

So, by default, my mother was the better parent. Sesame street did not exist at the time I was a child -- but I did watch a lot of I Love Lucy and Jeopardy.

Hmm, Unique Question... I'd def. say Sesame Street.. no doubt. However, I didn't watch it THAT much, I did watch Mr. Rogers a lot as a kid, but looking at it NOW, he would be quite an, um 'interesting' dad lol.. He was so friendly though lol.. how about You ?

I'm 19 and I only really started watching Sesame Street when I was 15. But I ended up watching it religiously
