Who was your best friend in school?

No one. I was afraid that if I liked a friend that I would have to eventually invite them to my home. My father had a habit of demeaning women and my mother would insult the other children I went to school with. My mother was a bit of a snob and if she didn't like someone she was very honest. My mother also would ask about where someone lived and if they didn't live in a neighbor she liked well then she would tell them they were trash.

I had a very lonely time in school.

My best friend was everyone's best friend. So in reality, I had no best friend.

i still remember my bestfriend from like the 5th grade.. her name was holly martin.. i wish i could talk to her now.. i've been looking for her..
