My grandmother used to, because it's the easiest way to change hair colour at least once a day.

I'd love your stats on "african american women"---no one I know wears a wig, nor do I.

I apoligize If I offended you, but all the wigs in all the stores I've ever been to were obviously being sold to african-american women, as they were all on african-american dummy-heads. I also think that weaves are sold predominantly to african american women. My "stats" on the subject come also from the fact that while african americans make up about 15% of the population, they consume 80% of the hair products (watch the Chris Rock movie "Good Hair" for more info)

I do, due to extreme hair loss because of scalp psoriasis. Hair won't grow back, glad there are alternatives because I'd feel worse if I had to walk around bald. I have a weird shaped head and bald does not suit me well.

i was a ********. Thats when i really got into wigs. They made me look barbie doll perfect. Plus i can change myself many times but when i'm not at the club ppl generally don't recognize me.
