I would like to swap gender with my wife; however, I would like it to be for a year, so that I could experience what she goes through during her period. Also, I would like to become pregnant and have a baby that I could nuture.

No, I wouldn't want to swap gender for a day. I am content not to know what a male feels like and I think it would be very confusing. This is a good question and thought provoking. The only thing appealing about it is maybe knowing what it would feel likek to have a penis and testicles. That might actually be interesting...there is my penis envy showing? I am just curious about it after all.
