I don't know anything about this, but FFS, American justice is a feckin joke.
Only in America.
The one place I've heard and read about, where they help anyone who has been wrongfully convicted is the Innocence Project. They have even gotten people off death row. From what I've read, I like their approach, because they honestly work on facts and not just cause the prisoner or her mother says, "she's innocent... and didn't do it." If someone was wrongfully convicted, we should all feel the same level of interest to get them freed.
