As an older man, there is a certain romance in that notion. Yes, not all men are bad, there is a thrill in being daring and a bit reckless, usually that is wasted on the young , but it still thrives in all of us. The Bohemian style and the romance of eras past where this was standard is difficult to find unless you see a more mature partner that accepts you for you, not your looks or sexuality, but personality, intellect, and frankness in truth in a bit of a reckless situation. Everyone has a bit of this as a dream but you have to work at it a bit to make it real. Never to early nor too late!!
