Well my family on my dad's side doesn't act that way. There really is no "black sheep," we just accept everyone for who they are. We don't shun them or consider them "less-than" or something just because they're different. Each of us is different in our own ways. <br />
And I don't interact much with my mom or her side of the family, so I guess I'd be the "black sheep" from their point of view.
Interesting to say the least. Somewhat dysfunctional, but aren't we all? ;)
