Why am I thinking about dumping a guy before we've even had a relationship?

You are probably just as hot as those other girls but maybe you don't see it yourself. Even if you were not as hot it doesn't matter. He seems to be attracted to you not them. Some guys don't actually like the hotties because they know they are probably stuck up and maybe only want to have sex.

What was the reason for your going out with the guy in the first place?..was it to try to forget someone else?..whatever you reason may have been maybe you need to think about the reason..within the reason lies the answer

I went through the same thing, usually it just means your having second thoughts about and realize it probably won't work.

1.) Lost interest
2.) You see them for who they really are
3.) Now that you got the attention you don't need it anymore
4.) Falling in love with the idea of falling in love

I am confused in that what do you construe a relationship to be . How can you dump a relative stranger and why would you, he or she care?

A relationship from my persecutive is two people involved to one another's lives for some period of time committed to a common purpose.

If my eprspection is correct, you haven't arrived at this point and you aren't really in a relationship. Conseuqently you are not dumping anyone of importance for cause.

You have to think you're worth it, before anyone else will think you are.

It sounds like you have low self confidence. I have felt that before -- and that was the core reason I had to address it. If you have a feeling he is not as good as he seems, trust that...but if it's just your confidence-- try to work on it & go for it...but GO SLOW.......get to know each other a little at a time...that will answer your question about how he feels about you -- he will show it in his actions.

You might have low self-esteem, and maybe it's a little intimidating to know that you could have competition for this guy. It sounds like you want to throw in the towel before the competition even starts. But please think about it carefully...consider your feelings for the guy,who much he really seems to like you, and if you are letting a couple of very competitive women intimidate you out of what could be a good thing. Also, remember that there are some agressive women out there that will do this sort of thing for fun.
I say don't be frightened off, just see where it goes.
I've given up on relationships for the same reason. It was a mistake.
