Why are girls sometimes called "prudes" just because they are not easy?
for example i noticed if a girl doesn't act easy, skanky and starved for attention she is called a prude. Can't it just mean that she respects herself more and has decent values? more than the girls who sleep with everyone they meet and walk around half naked. It seems like its a lose/lose situation regardless. I myself prefer decent women

There is a difference between being a "prude" and not being easy. A LARGE difference, actually. A prude is someone who is EXCESSIVELY proper or modest, in speech, conduct or dress; a girl who ISN'T easy just has high standards. Don't confuse the two.

This is because they are called prudes by two types of people. One: guys who WISH the girl was easy. Two: girls who ARE easy and want not to feel indecent or abnormal. Three (bonus): by people unfamiliar with what sexuality in a certain culture is.

It really is a lose/lose. Either way, we're frowned upon by men. So I guess we just have to choose what we'd prefer to be called...a ***** or a prude.
