Men aren't big communicators; it's the reason why girls do better with english and art classes. But just because they don't know how to deal with it or express it, doesn't mean they aren't feeling it. And being faced with someone who is good at expressing their feelings, they feel uncomfortable.
We can't cope the same way... we are different... literally in mind.
Men are less likely to overtly express their emotions, and they generally feel more awkward when emotional situations come up. It's not that men don't have emotions, but we are socialized to keep them on the inside, and to be hard. I think that, a lot of the time, men just don't know how to react when women start acting very emotionally.
Because most men are hardwired to not show excessive emotion when face with loss or grief, whereas woman are far more emotional and keyed into their emotions,
We all act different when it comes down to it.
